Notes on Battery Disposal
When selling devices containing batteries or rechargeable batteries, we are obligated to inform you of the following in accordance with the Battery Act:
Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. As an end user, you are legally obligated to return used batteries. You can also return the batteries free of charge to our shipping warehouse. We will then dispose of them properly and free of charge in accordance with the Battery Act. Please ensure that the batteries are completely discharged when returned and that they are protected against short circuits (e.g., by covering the terminals with adhesive tape).
Batteries or rechargeable batteries containing harmful substances are marked with this or a similar symbol of a crossed-out garbage can. The chemical name of the pollutant is located near the trash can symbol:

Pb = Battery contains lead
Cd = Battery contains cadmium
Hg = Battery contains mercury
